Two men plead not guilty to street attack murder

Two men have pleaded not guilty to murder six years after the death of a man following an assault.

Cameron Devlin, 34, sustained head injuries after being attacked on North Street, Brighton, in December 2019.

He died five days later on Boxing Day due to complications.

Oliver Priddle, 25, and Niraj Amaidas, 24, appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Friday charged with murder and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Mr Priddle, of Peacock Lane, Brighton, has also been charged with possessing a Class C drug.

He and Mr Amaidas, of Colwyn Close, Crawley, will stand trial on 2 June 2026.
