Pedestrian, 80, seriously hurt after being hit by car

A man in his 80s remains in hospital nearly two weeks after being hit by a car near an assisted living facility in Hereford.
The pedestrian was seriously hurt after the crash involving a black Volkswagen Jetta near Elizabeth Court on Bodenham Road at about 20:35 BST on 30 August, West Mercia Police said.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition, the force added.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, adding that no arrests had been made and inquiries were ongoing.
