Man, 18, denies charges after woman's fatal fall

An 18-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to the assault and manslaughter of a woman who fell from a block of flats.

Tia Langdon, 25, was found at Cuckmere Lane, Southampton, with significant injuries on 28 August. She died in hospital the following day.

Jaiden Hassan-Agard, appearing at Southampton Crown Court, also denied making threats to kill, false imprisonment and threatening with an offensive weapon in a private place in relation to Ms Langdon.

He pleaded not guilty to kidnapping and threatening another woman who was at the scene. Mr Hassan-Agard was remanded in custody until a provisional trial date of 7 April 2026.

Judge William Mousley KC adjourned the case and confirmed a further case management hearing to be held on 23 January 2026.
