A targeted police operation led to 25 motorists being stopped in one day, West Midlands Police says.

Drivers were reported for a variety of offences, including not wearing seatbelts, their vehicles being overweight, having no MOT, having no insurance, tyre offences and illegal tints on their windows.

The operation, using unmarked police vehicles, took place in Kingswinford, Dudley on 2 October, in partnership with Staffordshire Police.

The Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), a HMRC fuel testing unit, City of Wolverhampton Council, Dudley Council, and South Staffordshire District Council all also joined the operation.
