Four in hospital after ambulance and car crash

The crash on the A98 in Moray happened on Monday morning

Four people have been taken to hospital after a serious crash between an ambulance and a car in Moray.

The dark blue Renault collided with the emergency vehicle at about 06:50 on the A98 at Arradoul.

One person was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary while three others were take to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin.

Police have closed the road near Buckie at the A990 and A942 junctions.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said it dispatched multiple resources to the scene, including three ambulances, an air ambulance, and a critical care paramedic (CCP).

Drivers have been asked to avoid the area.
