A multi-purpose building in Inverness city centre is closing at the end of August.
The Spectrum Centre has been run by a community-led charitable company, with caretaker support from leisure charity High Life Highland.
The council-owned space has hosted theatre performances, classes and conferences. High Life Highland said it would help groups find alternative locations.
A spokesperson for Highland Council said a decision would be made about the future of the building in due course.
