Man appears in court charged with murder of woman

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a 54-year-old woman found dead at a house in Bradford.
Michelle Egge-Bailey was found dead when emergency services were called to a property in Airedale Avenue, Cottingley, on Tuesday.
Steven Lawton, 45, appeared via a video link from HMP Leeds at Bradford Crown Court.
During the brief hearing, Mr Lawton, of Airedale Avenue spoke only to confirm his name before being remanded into custody to appear at the same court on 18 March.
