Wife's tribute after man, 33, dies following crash

A wife paid tribute to her husband after a fatal crash on the A1301.

Arjun Gurung, 33, of Plantation Road, in Sawston, Cambridgeshire, was cycling southbound, at around 7pm on Monday 27 May, when he was involved in a collision with a grey Citroen DS3 coming in the opposite direction.

He died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital on 29 May. The driver of the car – a woman in her 40s - was uninjured and was assisting police with inquiries.

Mr Gurung’s wife, Deepa, said: “Arjun was a loved and loyal son, brother and husband. We will miss him dearly.”

Cambridgeshire Police launched an investigation and asked anyone with information about the crash to come forward quoting incident 399.
