The full line-up for a free one-day music event has been announced by organisers.

Three hundred artists applied to perform at the Ipswich Music Day 2024 at Christchurch Park on 7 July.

The 34th edition of the event will feature 45 different acts.

Head of Vibrant Town Services at Ipswich Borough Council, Mark Whiting, thanked all those who had applied.

"This year’s event promises to be more diverse than ever, with electronic artists and DJs within our line-up, so we’re looking forward to showcasing some really exciting and talented artists and bands on 7 July," he added.

Acts including JayaHadADream, Phoebe Austin, AfterDrive and Marcellus have been chosen for the event.

There will be five stages of local music as well as the Indian Summer Mela stage bringing a "colourful celebration" of Indian culture and entertainment, according to organisers.

A wide range of genres including acoustic, electronic, jazz, indie and more will feature across the stages.
