A bus operator has announced services have returned to normal after it made the decision to divert buses from an area of Hastings, East Sussex, following a spate of vandalism.

On 10 December, Stagecoach diverted services from the White Rock Gardens area on Bohemia Road after 16:00 GMT after vehicles were damaged.

On Wednesday, the company said routes along the road had resumed.

On Tuesday, two teenagers from St Leonards were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage in connection with the incidents.

Sussex Police said a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy had been released on bail while inquiries continue.
