Police have warned drivers of disruption as large objects, including for the new Sizewell C nuclear plant, will be escorted on Suffolk's roads.

Two loads are travelling on Thursday and two more on Sunday.

The A12, A14 and some B-roads will be used.

The objects include a transformer and a crane, external.

On Thursday, setting off in stages between 10:00 and 13:00 BST, four portable cabins will be transported from Bacton to Sizewell C, with a police escort from the A12 around Martlesham to the power station site.

At 14:30, another object will go from Otley to Sizewell, with an escort from the B1078 at Wickham Market.

At 08:00 on Sunday, a large transformer will make its way from Felixstowe docks to Bramford Substation using the A14, A1214, A1071 and B1113. Council workers will be removing some signs and traffic lights along the way.

Later in the day, at 13:30, a crane and ballast will travel from Buckinghamshire to Sizewell B, via roads including the A12, A14 and B1122.
