A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of raping a female at a bar in Surrey.

The alleged incident happened at Knox in High Street, Dorking, on 23 November.

The suspect, from Dorking, has been bailed pending further inquiries, Surrey Police said.

A review of the bar's alcohol licence has also been submitted to Mole Valley District Council following reports of underage drinking and the allegation of rape, the force added.

The age of the alleged victim was not provided by police.

The council has been approached for comment.
