His brother said: "Cain Parker, known to those that loved him as Kenny Fitzpatrick, tragically had his life taken on his way home from work on 6 November 2024.

"It was me and you against the world Kenny and no matter what I would protect you, I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you this time.

"Kenny wasn't just a brother to me, he had a total of four sisters and 10 brothers. He was a son whose mum is distraught - it's torn her world apart losing him so young.

"He was an uncle to many and a friend and was also expecting a daughter in early 2025.

"Everything Kenny did in the last few months of his life was for his daughter, he was devoted to making himself a better life for his baby girl."

Nottinghamshire Police said Mr Ahmed, from Bestwood in Nottingham, had also been charged with driving while unfit through drugs, driving without insurance, possession of cannabis and dishonestly failing to disclose information.

He is due to appear in court at a later date.

Police said two other men, 21 and 27, were also arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and had been released on bail.
