Motorists face delays on the M48 Severn Bridge after a crash.

Drivers were held on the motorway's eastbound carriageway between Junction 2 for Chepstow and Junction 1 for Avonmouth at about 08:00 BST on Wednesday.

One lane remains closed for recovery and clean up, National Highways said.

There are delays of about 30 minutes, the authority added.

The incident comes after the M4 eastbound was closed for hours overnight due to a car fire, between Junction 23 for Chepstow and Junction 22 for Avonmouth.
