Plans for more than 100 affordable homes on the site of a former plastics factory in Nottingham are set to be approved.
Nottingham City Council's planning committee is recommended to approve plans on Wednesday for a housing development on the former Chronos Richardson site, on land off Wyton Close in Bestwood.
According to planning documents, the proposed development would consist of 95-two-storey houses and 18 flats in three three-storey blocks.
Documents submitted by applicants MyPad and Nottingham Community Housing Association state the proposals would create a "strong, vibrant community" in the area.
Councillors approved plans in 2022 for 62 homes on the site and a supermarket, but the proposals were not taken forward.
According to the plans, the development would also incorporate public spaces and landscaping to make the site "attractive".
"The development will provide 113 affordable dwellings that will meet the needs of Nottingham's population and create a high-quality, affordable place to live," the documents state.
