The family of a man whose death is at the centre of a murder investigation said he was "so lovable".

Devon and Cornwall Police said Ison Alli from Penzance was found dead in a property in the Polruan Road area of Truro on 29 October.

A tribute from his family said Mr Alli, who was 23, "had a heart of gold" and would "forever be our beautiful reason to believe in love that never fades".

Police said a man from Truro had been arrested on suspicion of murder. The force said the man, also aged 23, had been bailed and anyone with information about the incident has been asked to contact investigating officers.

In the tribute, Mr Alli's family said: "Though your time with us was far too short, at 23, you had a heart of gold, showed such kindness, your humour and one-liners will forever be remembered.

"You were irritating beyond measure, but you were so lovable.

"You had your struggles, but you still put everyone before yourself. You taught us to laugh freely, and to care deeply."
