The fire destroyed a derelict commercial property

Fire crews are investigating a large blaze which destroyed a derelict commercial property.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the building, in the Comeytrowe area of Taunton, has now burnt out but a few hotspots remain.

The service said it received multiple calls around 19:16 BST on Monday.

Crews will attend the scene Tuesday morning to monitor the situation.

In total three fire engines - two from Taunton and one from Wellington - dealt with the blaze.
