Murder arrest after man, 85, found dead

Police have begun a murder investigation after an 85-year-old man was found dead at a property in south London.
Officers made the discovery at the address on Churchmore Road in Streatham, on Friday afternoon.
The Met Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene and he had "a number of injuries".
A 36-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody and detectives said they are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
Formal identification is yet to take place and a post-mortem examination will be carried out later.
Det Ch Insp Sarah Lee said: "We are working hard to piece together the events that unfolded in Churchmore Road yesterday, and offer our heartfelt condolences to the family of the victim and those affected by this tragic incident.
"We will continue to have an increased presence in the area whilst we continue our enquiries."
