PC charged with non-fatal strangulation of partner

Lincolnshire Police said PC Thomas DeZan had been suspended from duty

A serving police officer has been charged with non-fatal strangulation and engaging in coercive or controlling behaviour towards a partner.
It is alleged that PC Thomas DeZan, 32, who is based in Skegness, committed the offences between 1 June and 15 August 2024.
Lincolnshire Police said PC DeZan had been suspended from duty.
He is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 24 September.
