Motorcyclist seriously injured in A629 crash

A motorcyclist has suffered "very serious injuries" in a crash in Halifax.
West Yorkshire Police were called to the A629 Ovendon Road, near the Dean Clough Industrial Park just after 16:00 BST on Thursday.
Officers found a male motorcycle rider had come off his bike while travelling on the road and sustained serious injuries.
The force said the road had been closed following the crash while investigation work continues, with drivers advised to avoid the area.
