High winds bring ferries cancellations

Commodore Clipper services between Portsmouth and the Channel Islands have been cancelled

Passenger services on some Condor ferries have been cancelled for two days because of poor weather.

Condor said "high seas and high wind speeds" had prompted the cancellation of services operated by Condor Islander and Commodore Clipper between Portsmouth and the Channel Islands on Wednesday and Thursday.

There are also changes to the high speed services operated by Condor Voyager between St Malo and the Channel Islands and the Condor Liberation between Poole and the Channel Islands.

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to your travel plans," said the firm.
