Tributes and flowers have been left after a body was found by teams searching for a missing 13-year-old boy.

Appeals to find Mylo Capilla were issued after he was last seen at about 21:00 BST on Thursday, at an area known as the "Muddies" in Ingleby Barwick, Teesside.

Cleveland Police confirmed officers and partner agencies searching the River Tees had found the body of a boy on Friday.

Formal identification was yet to take place, police said, but tributes have been address to Mylo.

One was addressed to a loved "best friend", who would be missed every day.

Flowers were being laid in Ramsey Gardens, next to the Muddies.

However, Cleveland Police requested on behalf of the family that they instead be laid at St Francis of Assisi Church of England on Barwick Way.

Flowers are left on gravel beside a fence as a tribute after the body of a boy was found. The area is known locally as "the Muddies" in Ingleby Barwick, Teesside.
