No babies born on New Year's Day in Jersey

No babies were born on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day in Jersey, the island's health authorities have confirmed.
It comes as recent figures showed the island had recorded its lowest birth rate since 1955.
Previous statistics from the Superintendent Registrar showed there were 795 births in 2023, down by 40 from 2022.
The Department for Health and Care added three babies were born on Christmas Eve 2024.
