A former BBC journalist has appeared in court to deny three counts of rape and one charge of assault.
Jack Tymon is accused of raping one woman twice and of raping and assaulting a second woman, causing her actual bodily harm, in 2017.
Mr Tymon, who worked as a reporter and presenter at BBC Radio Derby between 2021 and earlier in 2025, pleaded not guilty to the offences during a hearing at Nottingham Crown Court.
The 27-year-old, from the Ilkeston area of Derbyshire, is due to face trial at the same court on 16 November 2026.
Tymon, who had previously been the president of the University of Derby Students' Union, was arrested in August last year and charged in September.
When contacted by BBC News, which is editorially independent of the rest of the corporation, a BBC spokesperson said they would not comment on the ongoing legal proceedings.
