Police appeal after chip shop windows smashed

Windows were smashed causing "significant damage" at a fish and chip shop on Sunday morning, police have said.

Guernsey Police has issued an appeal after damage to Northside Chip Shop on Northside Side in Vale.

Officers said the incident happened just after midnight, on Sunday morning, and anyone with information or relevant dashcam camera footage has been asked to contact the police.

The owners of the shop said on social media "every window to the whole front of our building have been smashed so all boarded up until we get it all sorted, but we’re still here to trade nothing is going to keep us down".
