Herts Police is appealing for information following a serious crash in Harpenden

Two pedestrians are in critical condition after being hit by a car.

Police and paramedics were called to St Albans Road, by Bull Road roundabout, in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, at 19:30 GMT on Thursday.

It was reported a black Kia Picanto hit a man and woman aged in their 70s who were both taken to hospital.

Officers previously shut roads in the area and are now appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage.
