Woman arrested as biker and passenger die in crash

A woman has been arrested in connection with a crash in which two people died.
The woman, in her 30s, was held on suspicion of two counts of causing death by careless driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs and driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
The crash, between a car and motorbike, happened on the A505 near the Cat Ditch Road junction between Royston and Baldock at about 23:30 GMT on Friday.
Hertfordshire Police said the motorcycle rider and passenger died at the scene. The woman has been released on bail, the force said.
