Two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a motorcyclist died in a crash in Greater Manchester.

The 55-year-old man's bike collided with a car at 06:00 BST on Saturday on the A6188 Tiviot Way in Stockport.

Police said the motorcyclist was navigating a bend at the time of the crash and died at the scene.

A 29-year-old man and a woman, 23, were held, Greater Manchester Police said.

The force appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage of the incident to come forward.
