Woman dies a week after motorbike crash

A 79-year-old woman has died a week after she was hit by a motorcycle.
The pedestrian died in hospital on Friday morning following the crash in South Elmsall, Wakefield, on 6 September, West Yorkshire Police said.
Officers appealed for witnesses to the incident, which took place at 09:11 BST on Barnsley Road and involved a black Ducati Scrambler motorbike.
The road was closed and the woman was taken to hospital. The road reopened the same day.
The rider stopped at the scene and was spoken to by police.
