Pregnant woman hit by car and taken to hospital

A pregnant woman was taken to hospital for treatment after she was hit by a car, according to the ambulance service.
It is understood she was crossing Campkin Road in Cambridge on Friday afternoon when a car struck her.
East of England Ambulance Service said it was called at 15:17 GMT to reports that a pregnant woman had been hit by a car.
"An ambulance and rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene. The woman was transported to the Rosie Hospital for further assessment and treatment,” the service said.
