Ofsted inspectors have praised a primary school for being 'truly inclusive' after its latest inspection.

The report on Bilston Church of England Primary School in Wolverhampton was published this week, after an inspection in July.

Inspectors said the school put pupils' well-being and care at its heart, and commended its curriculum and relationships between teachers and pupils.

Head teacher Gary Gentle said he was "delighted" at the feedback.

"We are a school where all pupils matter and where we have high ambitions for every pupil who attends our school," he said.

"Bilston CE Primary is a very special place, and I thank everyone involved in making the school a continued success."

The report added that pupils displayed a "genuine enjoyment" for learning, and said pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as those with language barriers, were supported and allowed to flourish.

This was Ofsted's second ungraded inspection of the school since it received a rating of good in 2015.

Inspectors said it remained good.

They added that some areas of curriculum needed to be clearer, and some staff should adapt their teaching to support students.
