A Metropolitan Police officer accused of sharing CCTV rape images has denied misconduct.

PC Adam Aspinall Da Encarnacao, 32, pleaded not guilty to two charges of misconduct in public office at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The charges relate to the inappropriate possession and sharing of images concerning the alleged rape of one woman and the rape of another.

One of the women was Natalie Patricia Shotter, 37, who died in Southall Park on 17 July 2021.

Mohamed Iidow, 34, of no fixed address, was charged with her rape and manslaughter on 21 December last year.

The second woman has been informed, a spokesperson for the Met confirmed.

PC Aspinall Da Encarnacao, of Buckinghamshire, was suspended from duty after his arrest in September 2022.

He is next due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on 9 September.
