Three teenagers, one aged 14 and two 15, have been arrested following a carjacking in Birmingham in which a man was stabbed.

He was found with leg injuries shortly before 03:00 GMT on Saturday at the junction of Gravelly Lane and Mona Road in Erdington, and his car was stolen.

Police said officers then pursued a car driven in excess of 100mph, with several police cars rammed before it was stopped. Three people were arrested.

The suspects remained in custody as the investigation continued, stated West Midlands Police.
