Man charged over crash that killed child

A man has been charged over a crash that killed a seven-year-old girl in Lincolnshire.

Elsie Gascoigne died from her injuries following the crash involving a Kia and a Citroen Relay on Metheringham Heath Lane, near Lincoln, on 3 January.

Veselin Dudenski, 39, of Cherry Avenue, Branston, is accused of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving, Lincolnshire Police said.

Mr Dudenski is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 16 October.
