Hundreds of thousands of fans descended on the city for one big party

Liverpool became an ocean of red as thousands of fans celebrated the football club's 20th top flight league title in an open-top bus parade.
Huge crowds lined the streets as Arne Slot and his team wound their way along the 10-mile (16km) route.
The Reds were presented with the Premier League trophy before jubilant fans at a packed Anfield on Sunday following their final day 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
The parade wrapped up a booming bank holiday weekend in the city, which also hosted BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend three-day festival.
