Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by car

A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit by a car.
It happened on the A1123 at Stretham in Cambridgeshire at about 10:10 BST on Saturday.
The man, in his 50s, from Longstanton, remains in hospital.
Police said the driver of a blue Vauxhall Corsa, a 49-year-old woman from Haddenham, remained at the scene and was helping officers with their inquiries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to get in touch.
