Cyclist seriously injured in crash at stately home

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after the crash close to the main bridge facing Chatsworth House

A cyclist was seriously injured when he was involved in a crash with a car at Chatsworth House.
Derbyshire Police said the crash between the cyclist, a 61-year-old man, and a grey Vauxhall Crossland occurred close to the main bridge facing the stately home at about 13:00 BST on Wednesday.
The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment while the driver was not injured, the force added.
Police have urged any witnesses or people with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
