Commuters on the M60 and M62 face rush hour delays due to a fuel spill and a broken-down vehicle.

The incident happened on the M60 clockwise carriageway at junction 13 near Worsley, Salford, with two lanes out of four closed, National Highways said.

The fuel spill has been causing delays between junctions nine and 13, with a specialist team working to clear the affected area.

Drivers have been warned of delays of around 30 minutes on the approach to the junctions, on the M60 back to junction nine for Trafford Park, and on the M62 east back to junction 11 for Risley.
