A43 'expected to be shut for hours' after crash

Police said the A43 in Kettering would be closed for several hours

A busy A road was expected to be closed for several hours due to a serious crash.

Northamptonshire Police said there had been a collision on the A43 in Kettering, between Rockingham Road and junction 7 of the A14.

Posting on social media, it said both "carriageways are expected to remain closed for several hours".

Drivers were advised to find an alternative route while Stagecoach said the incident was "causing long delays to bus services in Kettering".
