Polling stations open as Londoners cast their votes

Polling stations have opened as Londoners start casting their votes in the general election.
They opened at 07:00 BST and close at 22:00. You do not need to bring your poll card to vote in person, but you must bring voter ID.
Exit polls will give a snapshot of the national picture once the polling stations close.
The first seats declare some time close to 23:00 and the vast majority will have declared by 09:00 on Friday.
