A fundraising appeal has been started to help pay for the funeral costs for a woman found dead in Birmingham.

The body of Frances Dwyer, 48, was discovered at a house in Mulwych Road, Tile Cross, on 30 March.

Anthony Hoey, from Handsworth, was charged with her murder on Tuesday, as well as theft, aggravated vehicle taking and driving a motor vehicle taken without the owner's consent.

The appeal is hoping to raise £3,000 for Ms Dwyer's family who have been "left in complete shock, devastation and heartbreak".

The GoFundMe page said she was "a much-loved daughter, mother, grandparent, sister, aunty and friend".

Ms Dwyer's family previously paid tribute to her saying she was missed by everyone.
