Final preparations under way for creative hub

The final preparations are under way for the opening of a creative hub in Cornwall, a council has said.
Cornwall Council said the scaffolding was down from the three-storey "state-of-the-art building" in Penzance and it was expected to open in January 2025.
Pixel, the home of the Penzance Creative Cluster, was delayed following the collapse of a construction company in 2022.
The council said the internal works had been completed, with the final external works under way.
'Huge success'
The council said the building was funded by the authority, the European regional development fund and government's future high streets fund. The council said the building would be managed by Forward Space.
It said the building offers studio units and tenancies for a range of creative businesses "from visual arts and potters, to architects and digital media companies".
Portfolio holder for economy councillor Louis Gardner said he was "delighted" the project was nearing completion.
"Forward Space have a fantastic track record of managing shared workspaces and I know they have already received a large number of enquiries regarding the building, so I am sure it will prove a huge success," he said.
