Hundreds of bikers set for 45th charity egg run

Hundreds of motorcyclists are set to ride through Stoke-on-Trent on Sunday.
The Star Bikers event involves riders collecting Easter eggs for under-privileged children in north Staffordshire.
2024 marks the 45th egg run, with organisers anticipating between 700 and 1,200 attendees, depending on the weather.
The parade begins at 11:00 GMT from Stoke City's stadium, with riders coming from across the North West and Midlands.
Jamie Porter from Star Bikers said the feeling of being part of a motorcycle convoy, and seeing all the spectators as they travelled towards Kings Hall in Stoke was "just fantastic."
It was "brilliant" to help local families and children through the event, he said, and the amount of Easter eggs donated by people was "just fantastic."
All riders donate to the cause and the eggs are collected from various collection boxes around the area.
