Two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter over the death of a baby girl believed to have come into contact with chemicals in a home in east London.
The Met Police said the 41-year-old man and 26-year-old woman were not known to the one-year-old child.
Fire crews were called to a property in Barking Road on Tuesday after two adults, the infant and a six-year-old attended hospital complaining about a smell of chemicals in a flat in Upton Park, Newham.
The baby died at hospital and the others are not in a life-changing or life-threatening condition, the Met Police said.
Around 12 people were evacuated from surrounding properties as a precaution.
The incident is not believed to be related to terrorism, and the arrested pair remain in police custody.
