Slowthai rape victim felt 'helpless', court told

A woman alleging she was raped by Grammy-nominated rapper Slowthai said she felt "helpless" during the attack and did not resist.
The 29-year-old and his friend Alex Blake- Walker are accused of raping two women at a house party after a gig at The Bullingdon, in Oxford, in September 2021.
Slowthai, whose real name is Tyron Frampton, and 27-year-old Mr Blake-Walker, both deny three joint counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
Oxford Crown Court heard the men were introduced to a group of eight women after Mr Frampton's performance.
The group of women and four men then headed to a flat party, the court was told.
While some women remained inside, Mr Frampton and Mr Blake-Walker went up to the roof with the two complainants.
The prosecution alleges Mr Blake-Walker raped the first women while being encouraged by Mr Frampton - who twice raped the second complainant while being encouraged by Blake-Walker.
Both men are also accused of sexually assaulting the woman whom Mr Frampton is alleged to have raped.
In a police interview, given a week after the alleged rapes, the woman told officers she had been drinking and had taken ketamine and cocaine that night.
The court heard her describe arriving at the house and while she climbed the stairs both defendants touched her indecently.
Her interview then explained how Mr Frampton pushed her to the floor and forced her to perform oral sex on him.
The court heard: "I said stop to him. Slowthai was trying to pull my hair so I would continue", she told police.
"They were saying: 'No it's safe we'll look after you, it's safe with us'. They were saying: 'It's so great, can't believe this is happening' and fist-bumping each other."
Describing the second alleged rape, the woman said Mr Frampton pushed her into a wall and shoved her face against the wall.
She said: "I hadn't said no, not saying anything, I just pretended I wasn't really there.
"At some point I said I wanted to go inside."
Describing the other complainant, the woman said she could hear her saying "she was not doing this and him saying she was safe".
Later the woman added: "They said the phrase tag team. I think Blake-Walker was suggesting it."
Asked by a police officer why she did not tell Mr Frampton to stop, the woman said: "I felt helpless, like my body was not my own."
Mr Frampton, of Wellingborough Road, Northampton and Mr Blake-Walker of Wallbutton Road, south-east London, deny three joint charges of rape and one of sexual assault against two women.
The trial continues.
