A motorcyclist has been left with life-threatening injuries following a crash on a country road.

Emergency services were called after a black Volvo car and a black Suzuki motorcycle collided on Paper Mill Lane in Bramford, Suffolk, on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the bike rider, a man in his 30s, received serious head injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains in a critical condition.

Officers have appealed for witnesses to the crash, which happened at about 14:20 BST, and anyone with relevant video footage to come forward.
