Biker and passenger injured in rush-hour crash

A busy road in Nottinghamshire has been closed after a rush-hour crash between a motorbike and car.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash in Wilford Lane, West Bridgford, shortly after 17:00 GMT on Thursday.
The motorbike's rider and passenger - a male and female - suffered injuries and were being treated by paramedics at the scene, police said.
The force said there was "significant" traffic in the area, and that the road had been shut in both directions.
