Biker and passenger injured in rush-hour crash

A busy road in Nottinghamshire has been closed after a rush hour crash between a motorbike and a car.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash in Wilford Lane, West Bridgford, shortly after 17:00 GMT on Thursday.
The motorbike's rider and passenger - a man and woman - suffered injuries and were being treated by paramedics at the scene, police said.
The force said there was "significant" traffic in the area, and that the road had been closed in both directions.
