Man seriously injured in Dundee street attack

Police in Dundee are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in the city.
Officers responding to reports found the 46-year-old in Craigowan Road in Charleston at about 20:45 on Sunday.
He was taken to Ninewells Hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives said inquiries were ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
Det Con Ben Robertson said: "We are appealing for information from the public to find out how this man received these injuries.
"Officers will be carrying out patrols in the area and anyone with concerns can approach them.
"If anyone was in the area around that time and saw anything suspicious, please contact police.", external
