A fan of The Rocky Horror Show said he had seen the stage production 45 times.

Glyn Reynolds described it as "pure escapism" the first time he saw it and has never tired of it since.

He has been sharing some of his collection of Rocky Horror memorabilia with BBC Jersey to mark the 50th anniversary of the film which was released in 1975.

Mr Reynolds remembered seeing it when it was first released and said "there was nothing else like it".

Mr Reynolds has memorabilia collected over several decades, including original theatre posters and a front page of the film script, signed by the cast.

He said: "I've seen the live show up to 45 times now.

"The performances can really bring a tear to the eye.

"The stage show took over my life for quite some time and every time I went I would try to buy a little piece of memorabilia."

The Rocky Horror Show took to the small stage two years ahead of the film at London's Royal Court Theatre in 1973.
