Glasgow nightclub The Shed is to close after 26 years of "unforgettable memories".
The club, which opened in 1998, is set to hold a series of farewell events before a final closing night celebration on 14 September.
The future of the Shawlands building - established in the 1920s as Marlborough House - has not yet been decided.
Owner Michele Pagliocca, said the decision to close had been "incredibly difficult but it's the right time for us to say goodbye".
He said The Shed had "been more than just a nightclub", acting as a gathering place and scene of "many unforgettable nights".
"For 26 years, we’ve had the privilege of being at the heart of this community, creating moments that we hope will stay with people forever," he said.
"The decision to close has been incredibly difficult, but it’s the right time for us to say goodbye to this chapter of 26 Langside Avenue.”
Mr Pagliocca said staff at the club were being supported through the transition.
The popular club, known for its dance music and themed nights has also hosted events from pantomimes to weddings and community celebrations.
The site of The Shed has operated as a hospitality venue since the 1920s, when Marlborough House held ballroom dancing, cabaret, and comedy nights.
Mr Pagliocca added: ”We are taking some time to consider the future of this iconic building, its place in the community, and its ownership.
“While this chapter is coming to a close, the legacy of The Shed will live on in the memories of all who danced, celebrated, and came together here."
Club owners said a series of celebrations would take place before the club closes for good on 14 September to "celebrate all we've achieved together".
